The International Research Experience in Science (IRES) chronicles our students' international research experiences in the sciences. These opportunities are supported by Emory College's Office of Undergraduate Education, the Center for Science Education (Howard Hughes Medical Institute award) and CIPA (the Center for International Program Abroad). Students may also be partially supported via the German Academic Exchange (DAAD) program.

new background?
Google just presented me with the option of a new template for the blog and there was one with a map so I couldn't resist! If you hate it, I can change it!
I think it might look a little better if you shorten the title to 'IRES at Emory' so it fits on one line, and then include what IRES stands for in the following paragraph.
Oh, and p.s., I think we should start a contest for a new photo for the blog! Miguel's fluorescing flavins are awesome but they've been there for a couple years now. We need some fresh oocyte juice or something, no?
